Join VitaHealth – We are looking for caring caregivers for 24-hour in-home care!
Do you want to enable seniors with dementia to live a life of dignity, comfort, and security? Then VitaHealth is exactly the right place for you! We are looking for dedicated caregivers (with or without a care assistant certificate) to empathetically support our clients with dementia in their daily lives – throughout Switzerland.
Your tasks:
- Support in daily life (shopping, cooking, housekeeping)
- Sensitive companionship and activation of people with dementia (joint activities, biographical work, memory training)
- Promoting orientation and security (structuring the daily routine)
- Providing companionship, having conversations, reading aloud
- Accompanying clients on walks, to doctor’s appointments, and other appointments
- Assistance with basic care (washing, dressing – no medical care)
- Promoting joy of life and social participation, even in the face of challenging behavior
What you bring:
- Warmth, empathy, and patience
- Experience working with people with dementia (e.g., family, previous assignments)
- Willingness to live in the household of the person being cared for (live-in)
- Flexibility and a sense of responsibility
- Basic knowledge of German (other languages an advantage)
- First experience in caregiving or nursing preferred
